Kyle Gibson Struggles In No-Decision
6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson allowed three runs in 4 2/3 innings of work in a 14-8 win over the New York Mets on Tuesday. Gibson struck out six while allowing nine baserunners in the game. Unfortunately for fantasy owners who started Gibson, he just couldn't get that last out to qualify for a win in the blowout. Gibson is off to a disappointing start this season, posting a 7.71 ERA, 2.04 WHIP, and eight strikeouts in 9 1/3 innings of work this season. Despite the poor start, he has some streamer appeal for his next start, which will come against a punchless Toronto Blue Jays lineup.
