Kyle Gibson Struggles In Season Debut
6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson was not treated kindly by the Kansas City Royals in his first start of the season. Gibson allowed six runs (five earned) in 4 2/3 innings while managing just two strikeouts. It is a disappointing performance by Gibson, who showed signs of improvement during the 2018 season. If you are a fantasy owner who is rostering Gibson, it is worth holding him for another start or two to see if he's able to regroup. Gibson is slated to face off against the New York Mets on Tuesday for his next start. He should remain on fantasy benches for that one.
