Kyle Gibson Wins 13th Game
5 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson improved his record to 13-6 in a 13-5 win over the Detroit Tigers on Friday. Gibson didn't pitch particularly well, allowing four runs on 10 hits over five innings of work while striking out five. No matter as that is the benefit of pitching in front of one of the best offenses in baseball. Overall, Gibson has a 4.58 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 146 strikeouts in 149 1/3 innings of work. He will have a tougher task in his next start as he will travel to Boston to take on the Red Sox.
