5 years agoMinnesota Twins starter Kyle Gibson will have his start pushed back to Wednesday against the Athletics after appearing in the team's marathon 18-inning game on Thursday. He was originally slated to face the White Sox on Sunday but will be given some extra rest after starting in Tuesday's game earlier this week. Gibson has provided surprising fantasy stats this year with eight wins and 88 strikeouts in 87.2 innings for the Twins in his age-31 season. His 4.21 ERA is nothing to drool over, but he's a viable starter in deep mixed leagues and a streaming option for next week's matchup in Oakland in shallower leagues.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
