2 years agoSan Francisco Giants pitching prospect Kyle Harrison allowed two hits, one run, three walks and struck out nine over six innings for Double-A Richmond on Tuesday. The lefty opened the season for High-A Eugene and had a 1.55 ERA with 59 strikeouts and 10 walks in seven starts over 29 1/3 innings. That strong start earned the 20-year-old a promotion to Double-A at the end of May. Harrison got off to a rough start for Richmond, but he has performed well over his last two outings with just one run, five hits, 17 strikeouts and seven walks over 11 innings. Command has been the biggest issue for Harrison in his young career, but he has the stuff to contribute in the big leagues down the road and can hopefully fix his control issues as he rises through the ranks. For now, he is just a name for dynasty managers to monitor.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
