Kyle Hendricks Cleared To Begin Rehab Program
2 years agoChicago Cubs right-hander Kyle Hendricks (shoulder) has been cleared by the team to begin rehabbing in Arizona. Hendricks has been sidelined with a strained right shoulder since July 6. The team has yet to decide whether Hendricks will work toward pitching again in 2022 or if he will focus on returning to full strength for the beginning of the 2023 season. Hendricks has made 16 starts for the Cubs this season, posting a 4-6 record, 4.80 ERA, and 66 strikeouts over 84 1/3 innings of work.
