3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks continued his midseason turnaround with a quality outing against the Cincinnati Reds on July 4. Hendricks scattered five hits and an earned run in six frames against the Reds while striking out five. He didn't give up any walks on the day. After some early struggles, the veteran has been excellent of late, striking out 49 batters while pitching to a 2.53 ERA in his last 64 innings. Keep him in your lineups for his next start Friday against a St. Louis Cardinals lineup that ranks in the bottom five of the league in runs scored, wRC+ and on-base percentage.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
