3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks had another rough outing on Saturday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. The veteran only lasted 4 1/3 innings and allowed five hits, six runs, three walks and recorded just one strikeout. Hendricks was putting together another solid campaign, but had an awful month of August with a 7.81 ERA and the change of month didn't do much to turn things around. Hendricks relies on his control and it just hasn't been there over the past month. Next up for Hendricks will be a date versus the San Francisco Giants on Saturday. Hendricks has become hard to trust and managers should proceed with caution moving forward.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
