4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks (illness) is expected to start on Sunday versus the Atlanta Braves if he continues to feel better. Managers David Ross on Friday also said that Hendricks has been feeling better. The starter was scratched right before Monday's game with an illness and was replaced by Alec Mills. Hendricks had a rough Opening Day, but bounced back in his second start with six scoreless innings. Hendricks owns a career 3.12 ERA and 1.11 WHIP, making him valuable in all formats. Hendricks would face a tough Braves lineup on Sunday, but should be safe to start. If Hendricks doesn't start, expect Alec Mills to get another start. Mills performed well replacing Hendricks, but is tough to recommend versus a strong Braves offense.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
