3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks improved to 11-4 with Friday's victory versus the St. Louis Cardinals. Hendricks went 6 1/3 innings and allowed seven hits, two runs, one walk and struck out one on the afternoon. Hendricks started the year on a bad note, but he has been productive ever since the calendar turned to May. Along with his 11-4 record, Hendricks will finish the first half with a 3.77 ERA. Hendricks continues to be an underrated and consistent starting pitcher and managers should continue use him in most matchups.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
