3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks got annihilated in Sunday's loss versus the Chicago White Sox. Hendricks looked like a shell of himself this afternoon and allowed seven hits, eight runs, two walks and struck out four on the afternoon. Hendricks was having a great season, but has been getting crushed in the month of August with a 1-2 record and an ugly 7.81 ERA. With the playoffs creeping up in some leagues, it may be best to proceed with caution in the case of Hendricks. He is now 14-6 with a 4.43 ERA. Even in a very favorable matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday, Hendricks will be hard to trust moving forward with his recent struggles and limited run support.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
