3 years agoChicago Cubs right-hander Kyle Hendricks struggled in a 10-6 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday. Hendricks allowed seven runs over five innings while striking out three and walking two. He struggled to keep the ball in the yard, serving up four homers before departing after 93 pitches following the fifth inning. Hendricks has been very inconsistent this year, having allowed six or more runs in three starts and two runs or fewer in five outings. Overall, he has a 2-4 record, 4.89 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 35 strikeouts over 49 2/3 innings of work.--Matt T - RotoBaller
