4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks will get the call on Opening Day this year. Hendricks was competing with Yu Darvish for the season opener. The Professor has quietly been one of the better starting pitchers over the last five seasons and getting the nod on Opening Day helps prove that. Hendricks pitches better at home versus on the road, but he should be played in almost all of his starts.
