2 years agoChicago Cubs pitcher Kyle Hendricks (shoulder) will start Tuesday's game against the San Diego Padres. He has been sidelined since June 1 due to shoulder fatigue. The Cubs gave the right-hander extra rest, and he will return to the mound on Tuesday. Hendricks owns a 5.22 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and a 37:19 K: BB across 58 2/3 innings in 2022. The 32-year-old struggled over his last three starts, posting a 9.00 ERA while surrendering five home runs over his previous 14 innings.
