4 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Kyle Higashioka appears to be the personal catcher for right-handed pitcher Gerrit Cole for the foreseeable future. Higashioka will be behind the plate Tuesday when Cole faces Toronto, whom Higashioka throttled for three home runs last Wednesday. Even with the playoffs on the horizon, it appears that Gary Sanchez will either serve as the designated hitter or head to the bench when Cole is on the hill. Higashioka is in an excellent rhythm with Cole, which only increases the ace’s fantasy intrigue, while also giving the Yankees’ backstop some DFS upside when in the starting nine.--Jesse Borek
