Kyle Larson Right At Home At Fontana
3 years agoKyle Larson qualifying at only 13th is not terrible by itself. Larson, before his days at Hendrick Motorsports Racing, won three of his five races on two-mile tracks. Fontana is a two-mile D-oval track that suits Larson's driving skills well. He won here in 2017 and finished second in 2018. Before two riddled with problems results, Larson was running well in those races as well. Now with Hendrick, the No. 5 car could perform above expectations. He was the odds-on favorite to win on Sunday. The key will be can he get to the front and stay there. Alex Bowman did two years ago.
