3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Kyle Lewis' (knee) minor league rehab assignment ends on Monday, so he's expected to be activated from the injured list to open the team's homestand against the Oakland Athletics on Monday night. If he's not ready by then, the Mariners could send him on a second rehab assignment. The 26-year-old will be making his MLB season debut when he gets into a game, and he is currently 10-for-30 with three home runs, 11 RBI and six runs scored in his eight rehab games with Triple-A Tacoma. He has played on back-to-back days on two different occasions, so Lewis will likely be ready to play for Seattle on Monday. Lewis should have an everyday role between a corner outfield spot and designated hitter for the M's.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
