2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Kyle Lewis (concussion) is expected to be activated from the injured list on Friday, according to general manager Jerry Dipoto. Lewis has been out with a concussion since late May, but it looks like he'll return to the team's starting lineup on Friday for the series opener against the division-rival Houston Astros. The 27-year-old cleared the fences five times during a 10-game rehab assignment with High-A Everett and Triple-A Tacoma before the All-Star break, so he should be ready to play nearly everyday in Seattle's outfield in the second half of the season. Lewis only has 15 at-bats at the major league level in 2022, but the 2020 American League Rookie of the Year should be picked up in mixed leagues if he's still available on the waiver wire.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
