Kyle Lewis Goes Deep In Rehab Game
2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Kyle Lewis (concussion) went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, one run scored and a strikeout in his minor league rehab game with Triple-A Tacoma on Friday night. Lewis played five innings in left field before leaving the game, and he's now gone deep five times in his last six games in the minors. If he's not activated this weekend, the 27-year-old should be ready in time to rejoin the Mariners lineup for the second half of the season after next week's All-Star break. Lewis should return to a starting role for the M's after he hit .267/.313/.667 with a .979 OPS, two home runs and three RBI in just four games for Seattle before his head injury.
