Kyle Lewis Undergoes Surgery On Meniscus
3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Kyle Lewis (knee) underwent surgery on Wednesday to repair his torn right meniscus, according to general manager Jerry DiPoto. There's currently no timetable for Lewis to return, but an update should be provided in seven to ten days. The team is hopeful that Lewis will be able to return this year, as he is a key part of the offense, but they will surely be cautious as Lewis has previously dealt with issues in this same knee, as recently as this year's spring training. Lewis was slashing .246/.333/.392 with five home runs and two steals at the time of the injury. It would be understandable if fantasy managers chose to move on in redraft formats.
