3 years agoNew York Islanders winger Kyle Palmieri dropped out of the lineup ahead of the third period in Thursday's 3-1 win over Boston, leaving the game with a lower-body injury. He logged 9:12 of action and had two shots and two penalty minutes before getting hurt. Early reports suggest that it's not a serious injury and Palmieri is considered day-to-day. Having some time off might end up being good for him, as Palmieri has struggled to stay effective and he's gone 11 straight games without a single point.
