Kyle Philips Getting Some Attention
2 years agoTennessee Titans fifth-round rookie wide receiver Kyle Philips impressed during offseason workouts. "Kyle's definitely a great route-runner," quarterback Ryan Tannehill said. "He's got some quickness, some agility, (and I'm) getting to learn his craft as he learns our offense and sees where he fits in." He caught 59 passes for 739 yards and 10 touchdowns in his final season at UCLA and led all Pac-12 wideouts with his 10 touchdowns. Philips was rated second in the Pac-12 in receiving yards per game with 67.18 and No. 3 in the league in catches per game (5.36). He'll also be in the mix in the return game, which will give him a chance to make the final 53-man roster out of training camp. Philips has nice short-area quickness, but he's well off the fantasy radar for now.
