3 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Kyle Schwarber went 1-for-3 with a home run in a 2-0 win over the Giants in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader. Schwarber has been mired in a slump at the plate recently, as he's slashing .196/.276/.314 with two home runs, five RBI and three runs scored over his last 15 games. While they aren't ideal numbers, it does appear that Schwarber has been slightly unlucky at the plate as he currently owns a .234 xBA and .438 xSLG. Hopefully Saturday's performance will be the start of a turnaround at the plate for Schwarber.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
