4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber is back in the lineup Monday versus Pittsburgh and right-hander JT Brubaker. Schwarber was removed early in Sunday’s contest against Minnesota due to a non-injury reason, manager David Ross made clear during the television broadcast. Schwarber has been in a hefty slump over the past two weeks, having hit just .073 without an extra-base hit since Sept. 5. He will bat cleanup Monday, which gives him some DFS appeal at his price tag, but he carries a freezing cold bat into action.--Jesse Borek
