Kyle Tucker On The Bench Again Friday
2 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker (illness) remains out of the starting lineup on Friday against the Cleveland Guardians. Tucker was scratched from Thursday's lineup with an illness, and he will remain on the bench for another game. Chas McCormick is getting the start in right field and will hit seventh against Guardians right-handed rookie Hunter Gaddis, who is making his MLB debut. McCormick hasn't hit for much average this year (.236 in 265 plate appearances), but he does have 11 home runs and 29 RBI in 76 games played. In the last week, he's gone 4-for-12 (.333) with a homer, three RBI and two runs scored in five games. He'll be a mediocre low-cost DFS target hitting near the bottom of Houston's lineup Friday.
