3 years agoAtlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker said that pitchers Kyle Wright and Huascar Ynoa are likely the front-runners for the two open starting rotation spots to begin the 2022 season. Wright, a 26-year-old right-hander, has a rough 6.56 ERA and 1.69 WHIP in 21 career major league outings (14 starts) over 70 innings pitched. He won't be attractive in shallow mixed leagues, but he could be worth a look in NL-only formats if he sticks in Atlanta's rotation. Ynoa had shoulder inflammation in the playoffs last year, but the 23-year-old appears to be fine this spring and was promising with a 4.05 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, 100 strikeouts and 25 walks in 91 innings last season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
