7 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitching prospects Kyle Wright and Touki Toussaint were both called up from the minors when rosters expanded on Saturday. Wright is expected to make his major league debut in the final month, while Toussaint could also be an option for the rotation. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Gabriel Burns reported that manager Brian Snitker said Wright will mainly operate in relief. The 22-year-old was the fifth overall pick in 2017 and ranks second in the team's prospect rankings. Wright has a 3.46 ERA, 3.3 BB/9 and 8.7 K/9 in 138 total innings in the minors this year. Toussaint is the team's No. 5 prospect and looked good in his start with Atlanta this year. He would be a deep league streaming option (depending on the matchup) if he makes another start in September.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
