Kyler Murray Expected To Be At Mandatory Minicamp
3 years agoArizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said he expects quarterback Kyler Murray to be at mandatory minicamp in mid-June. Murray is not attending voluntary organized team activities this week while still seeking a long-term contract extension from Arizona. The 24-year-old isn't happy with his situation in the desert, but the Cardinals continue to say that they expect something to get done. If no extension has been reached by the time mandatory minicamp begins, all bets are off that Murray will be present. Murray missed three games last year due to an ankle injury and finished as the QB11 in fantasy. He still has high-end QB1 upside heading into 2022, but the fact that No. 1 receiver DeAndre Hopkins is suspended for the first six games will likely cause his stock to drop in fantasy circles.
