2 years agoLos Angeles Rams promising rookie running back Kyren Williams (ankle) suffered a high ankle sprain early in the first quarter of the 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night and could be sidelined up to six weeks, according to a source. It's a tough blow to the Rams' running back depth and for the fifth-rounder to begin his NFL career. Fantasy managers in dynasty/keeper leagues shouldn't expect Williams to return until sometime after the team's Week 7 bye. Darrell Henderson Jr. led the Rams backfield in rushing on Thursday, with Cam Akers being basically invisible (three carries for zero yards).
