Lamar Jackson Makes Preseason Debut
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson got his first taste of preseason action during the win over Washington on Saturday, finishing with 29 yards while connecting on three of his four passing attempts. Although the team set an NFL record with its 20th consecutive exhibition victory, the feat was overshadowed by the injury to J.K. Dobbins (knee), who was carted off the field after hurting his left knee. Tyler Huntley did most of the work in this one and appeared to lock up the backup job by finishing with five total touchdowns. However, Jackson will obviously be the guy under center come Week 1. Nonetheless, with the Ravens dealing injuries across the board, Jackson's fantasy stock has slightly decreased. However, managers should still classify him as an elite fantasy signal-caller due to his accuracy as a thrower and ability to make some noise on the ground.
