Lamar Jackson Resumes Throwing
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (ankle) posted video clips on his Instagram on Tuesday of him back on the field throwing to wide receivers Rashod Bateman and James Proche II. Jackson sat out the final four games of the 2021 season due to a bone bruise in his ankle, and head coach John Harbaugh said Jackson told him at the end of January that he would start to work his way back the day after the Super Bowl. "Lamar is really determined," Harbaugh said. The 25-year-old dual-threat QB could land a contract extension this offseason, and he should return to being a high-end QB1 target in fantasy drafts heading into the 2022 season. In 12 games last season, Jackson threw for 2,882 yards, 16 touchdowns and a career-high 13 interceptions, adding 133 carries for 767 yards and two more TDs.
