Lamar Jackson Scores Twice On The Ground
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson completed 14 of 24 passes for 179 yards in Sunday's 26-24 win over the Browns. The 21-year-old also added 90 yards and a season-high two touchdowns on 20 carries. It was one of the rookie's best passing performances this year. He tied his season high in completions, had his second-most passing yards, and the 7.4 yards per attempt was his second-highest mark this year. The former Louisville star has tallied 90 or more yards on the ground in two of the last three games and three of his seven starts. Jackson, who is 6-1 as a starter, has a tough first playoff matchup against a Chargers' defense that is ranked eighth in the scoring defense and eighth against the run. Jackson struggled against the Chargers when they squared off on Dec. 22 as he completed 12-for-22 for 204 yards and one touchdown while tallying just 39 yards on the ground on 13 attempts.
