Lamar Jackson Tosses Season-High Two Touchdowns
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson completed 13 of 24 passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Chiefs. The rookie added 71 yards on 13 carries to give him a total of 218 yards from scrimmage, marking the fourth straight game he has surpassed 70 rushing yards and 200 total yards. Jackson suffered an ankle injury late in the game and was unable to finish the contest. However, he said that he was "good" when asked about the injury following the game. The game also marked the first time that the 21-year-old posted multi-touchdown passes, although it is his second multi-touchdown game of the season. While Jackson has not thrown an interception in his last two outings, fumbling continues to be a problem for the former Louisville star as he lost the ball on the ground for a second consecutive game. Even though it doesn't look like the injury will cost Jackson to miss any time on the field, the Ravens' quarterback situation is worth monitoring with Joe Flacco (hip) getting healthier by the day.
