Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley Will Miss Sunday’s Contest
3 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens' quarterback options for Sunday's game against Cincinnati have been drastically shortened with Lamar Jackson (ankle) and Tyler Huntley (illness) ruled out. Jackson's absence due to an ankle injury marks his second contest in a row on the sidelines, while Huntley was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday. The team will roll with veteran Josh Johnson under center, who is set to make his first start since 2018 during a stint with Washington. Johnson played most of the Jets' Week 9 loss to Indianapolis, compiling 317 passing yards and three touchdowns. Huntley had proven to be an adept fill-in for Jackson, although whether he'll get another starting chance remains unclear with both having a week to heal up before a matchup vs. the Rams.
