2 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will play his rookie contract despite the massive absence of guarantees on a new deal. The 2019 NFL MVP insisted that his deadline to get a long-term contract extension done with the team is this Friday before Week 1 against the New York Jets. Both sides will look to reach a deal Friday by midnight. The 25-year-old will look to bounce back in 2022 after an ankle injury limited Jackson to 12 games last season.
