Lamar Jackson Won't Play In Preseason Opener
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson won't play during the preseason opener on Thursday against the Titans. This isn't a surprise, primarily since the 2019 NFL MVP may not get any reps until closer to Week 1. Even then, Jackson isn't a lock to see the field throughout the preseason. The 25-year-old has bulked since the end of last season. He has also demonstrated added "zip" to his throws in camp, so he has top-five fantasy upside at the position heading into the 2022-23 campaign. Regarding the exhibition versus Tennessee, Tyler Huntley, Brett Hundley, and Anthony Brown are listed behind Jackson on the depth chart, so there's a chance all of them will receive some snaps.
