Lamar Jackson Working On Improving As A Passer
4 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is coming off a successful campaign in 2019, which included being named the league's MVP. Though the third-year signal-caller doesn't have much to improve upon as a runner, head coach John Harbaugh is looking for Jackson to "push the ball to spots where the defense is not" in 2020. With many opposing defenses likely to stack the box to stop the run, the door could be open for more passing yards from the 23-year-old at the expense of seeing a slight regression in rushing yards. Nonetheless, he is likely to make some noise on the fantasy end this upcoming year, so fantasy managers should expect him to be the first quarterback off the board in most leagues, regardless of format.
