Lamar Jackson's Throws Have More Zip On Them
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson bulked up in the offseason, and it has shown on his throws so far in training camp. He has thrown the ball with more velocity and had tighter spirals. Jackson was 12-for-17 (70.5%) on his passes in team drills on Thursday, including a 55-yard touchdown pass to rookie Isaiah Likely. "He's strong and he looks great," head coach John Harbaugh said. Jackson also worked on cleaning up his throwing mechanics in the offseason, so that likely has played a big part as well. The 25-year-old disappointed in 2021 due to a late-season injury, but he's determined to bounce back for fantasy managers as a top-five signal-caller.
