3 years agoSan Francisco Giants' first baseman/outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. (knee) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Friday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. According to manager Gabe Kapler, he anticipates Wade being active tomorrow. The 28-year-old has been dealing with knee inflammation since Spring Training and is expected to make his season debut on Friday. Wade is locked in at the plate during his rehab assignment in Triple-A, slashing .357/.524/.714 with one home run, two doubles, and five walks over five games.
