3 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn (knee) left his outing early on Saturday against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the fourth inning with right knee discomfort. The White Sox will know more on his status on Sunday. The right-hander allowed seven runs (four earned) and seven hits while striking out four and walking one before departing. Even if the 34-year-old's injury isn't all that serious, he could be in danger of missing a couple turns in the rotation with Opening Day less than a week away. Lynn was an All-Star for the second time in his career in his first season with the White Sox last year, going 11-6 with a 2.69 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, 176 K's and 45 walks in 28 starts over 157 innings pitched. Check back for further updates on his status on Sunday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
