Lance Lynn Drawing Interest From At Least Four Teams
7 years agoFree-agent starting pitcher Lance Lynn has "a healthy market," according to MLB.com's Jon Morosi, that includes at least four teams -- the Twins, Angels, Orioles and Brewers. However, teams may wait on Lynn until free-agents Jake Arrieta and Yu Darvish choose their destinations. Aside from 2016, Lynn has thrown at least 175 innings in each of the last five years and he has gone a combined 72-47 with a career ERA of 3.38. The right-hander's stats look good from afar last year in his return from Tommy John surgery (3.42 ERA, 1.22 WHIP), but he struck out 153 batters in only 186 innings and finished with a 9.20 ERA and 14:10 K:BB ratio in his last four outings. There are reasons to doubt Lynn in 2018, but his fantasy value will mainly be determined by where he lands in free agency.
