7 years agoThe Minnesota Twins and right-hander Lance Lynn have agreed on a one-year, $12 million guaranteed deal. Lynn, who spent his entire career with the St. Louis Cardinals, had been rumored to be negotiating with the Twins over the past week while the Twins were making no secret about their desire to add another arm to the starting rotation. He reportedly turned down a two-year, $20 million deal from the team last week. Lynn will help solidify a Minnesota rotation that will be without ace Ervin Santana for at least the first month of the season as he heals up from finger surgery. Lynn is coming off a 2017 season which saw him post an 11-8 record, 3.43 ERA, and 153 strikeouts in 186 1/3 innings of work for the Cardinals. There's no word yet when he will make his debut with his new team.--Matt T - RotoBaller
