Lance Lynn Starting Rehab Assignment
2 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn (knee) will begin his minor league rehab assignment on Sunday with Triple-A Charlotte. Lynn will make three rehab starts in the minors before rejoining the White Sox's starting rotation. He threw around 40 pitches of live batting practice early last week and is scheduled to throw three innings and 45 pitches for Charlotte on Sunday. The 35-year-old right-hander isn't eligible to return from the 60-day injured list until June 6, but he should be able to return around that date, barring any setbacks on his rehab assignment. An All-Star for the second time for Chicago in 2021, Lynn has yet to make a major league start this year, but he should be stashed in all fantasy leagues with his season debut right around the corner.
