5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Lance Lynn allowed four runs in seven innings with 12 strikeouts and took the loss Sunday at Houston. Lynn allowed seven hits and two walks while throwing a whopping 118 pitches to grind his way through seven innings. Lynn is not the sexiest name in fantasy baseball, but he has now completed at least six innings in 16 straight starts dating back to April 23. They haven't all been pretty, but Lynn has a 3.93 ERA and is striking out well over a batter per inning. Sunday's start was his fifth start of the season with double-digit strikeouts and it brings his season total to 152 strikeouts in 135 innings. Fantasy owners should continue to start Lynn with confidence he'll provide a solid floor of innings and strikeouts with upside for some big starts mixed in.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
