5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Lance Lynn allowed three earned runs, six hits and a walk with eight strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision Wednesday against the Boston Red Sox. He threw 64 of his 100 pitches for strikes, including first-pitch strikes to 19 of the 24 batters he faced while also uncorking a wild pitch. Lynn has recorded seven consecutive quality starts while striking out 93 batters over just 86 innings. After a slow start to the season at 2-2 with a 6.51 ERA over his first five outings, he has settled down and become one of the more reliable fantasy starters in the American League.--Daniel Dobish
