Lance Lynn Struggles With Control Saturday
6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Lance Lynn struggled with his control in a loss to the Kansas City Royals on Saturday. Lynn allowed three runs in five innings while striking out six and walking six. As has been the case for much of the season, Lynn was unable to throw strikes consistently, which led to him underperforming on the mound for the Twins. On the season, Lynn now has a 7-8 record, 5.23 ERA, 1.66 WHIP, 97 strikeouts, and 61 walks on the season. As an impending free agent, Lynn could be moved at the trade deadline. He will look to improve his control in his next start, which will come in Boston against the Red Sox.
