4 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Lance Lynn had a great start to the 2020 season in a 1-0 win over the Colorado Rockies. Lynn pitched six innings without giving up a run and limited Colorado to two hits on the night. He uncharacteristically walked four batters on Friday but made up for it with nine strikeouts. The former-Cardinals hurler had over 200 innings and 200 strikeouts in 2019, and his first start indicates that he will be on a similar pace this season. It remains to be seen how teams will use the extra off days this year, but Lynn will face either the Arizona Diamondbacks or San Francisco Giants in his next start.--Euan Leith
