Lance Lynn To Make Another Rehab Start Wednesday
2 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn (knee) will make his third minor league rehab start for Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday and is scheduled to go five innings, according to skipper Tony La Russa. There's a chance that Lynn's rehab start on Wednesday will be his final one before he makes his 2022 season debut in the White Sox's starting rotation. June 13 against the Detroit Tigers would be the earliest possibility. The 35-year-old right-hander allowed three runs on four hits with one walk in four innings in his last start for Charlotte on Friday and built up to 62 pitches. After going 11-6 with a 2.69 ERA and 1.07 WHIP with 176 K's and 45 walks in 157 innings over 28 starts as an All-Star in 2021, Lynn should be stashed everywhere with his season debut around the corner.
