6 years agoHouston Astros starter Lance McCullers will look to bounce back from last week's horrendous start when he takes on the Red Sox on Thursday night at Minute Maid Park. McCullers (6-3) was touched up for seven runs in only 4 1/3 innings on May 26, raising his ERA to 3.98 after the performance. Execution has been an issue at times for the talented McCullers, and he has seen a spike in walks over the past handful of starts. Over his last 29 1/3 innings pitched, he has walked 13 hitters and hit one batter. McCullers was torched for three home runs last week against the Indians, but that could have been a product of facing the same team twice in one week. He will have his hands full taming an explosive Red Sox lineup Thursday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
