2 years agoLos Angeles Rams receiver Lance McCutcheon had his second straight big game, racking up five receptions on six targets for 96 yards in Friday's 24-20 preseason loss to the Houston Texans. The undrafted rookie from Montana State University was called "a very realistic candidate to make this roster" by coach Sean McVay during the week. His chances must have increased after Friday. He displayed his speed and change-of-direction abilities, breaking open against rookie cornerback Derek Stingley, who was selected third overall, for 22 yards for his first catch of the game. McCutcheon still has to work on his situational awareness as he competes for a roster spot with the defending Super Bowl champions.--Mitchell Blatt - RotoBaller
